About NetCheckPro

NetCheckPro is a free internet quality test that runs in your browser. It measures latency, jitter and bufferbloat, and tells you in plain English whether your connection suits video calls, gaming, streaming or a VPN.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Why it exists

A normal speed test answers “how fast?”, but the complaint people actually have is “my calls are choppy and my speed test is fine”. Choppy calls usually come from unstable delay, not low speed. NetCheckPro was built to show that instability and explain it without jargon.

What it measures, and what it does not

The test measures download and upload speed, idle latency, jitter, and how much latency rises when the connection is busy, which is graded as bufferbloat. It scores the result for Teams, Zoom, gaming, streaming and VPN use.

It does not measure packet loss, because a browser cannot send the raw packets that needs. The result says “not measured” instead of guessing. It tests the path from your device to Cloudflare, so it is an estimate and not a certified measurement of your internet provider. The full method, thresholds and limits are on the How we measure page.

Who makes it

NetCheckPro is made and maintained by one independent person. It is not run by an internet provider, a VPN company, or any vendor named on the site. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cloudflare, Microsoft, Zoom or any other company it mentions.

The measurements come from Cloudflare’s open-source speed test engine, which is published under the MIT licence at github.com/cloudflare/speedtest. We use it as published and do not send your results back to Cloudflare.

How the site is paid for

The test and the guides are free, with no account and no sign-up. The site may earn a commission from partner links, and says so wherever they appear. NetCheckPro also sells a paid business internet and website audit. If we add advertising, the privacy policy will say so.

Your data

The test runs in your browser and your results are not sent to us. Analytics is off until you accept it. The privacy policy explains everything that is collected and who processes it.

Found a mistake?

If a number, threshold or explanation on the site looks wrong, please tell us at hello@netcheckpro.online. We check reports, correct what is wrong and update the page’s date. The same address is the place for questions about the business audit.
